How to use it

The formula explained
The math is a straight calendar difference: $$\text{days} = \text{first school day} - \text{today}$$ Each date is reduced to midnight so partial days don't distort the count, and the millisecond gap is converted to whole days. Weeks are simply days \(\div\) 7.
Worked example
Suppose today is August 1, 2025 and school starts September 2, 2025. August has 31 days, so from Aug 1 to Sep 1 is 31 days, plus one more day to Sep 2 — a total of 32 days. In weeks that is $$32 \div 7 \approx 4.57 \text{ weeks}.$$
